Trauma to Mother and Fetus

I am writing a novel in which a 16-week pregnant woman is shot in the shoulder. The bullet exited the back with only tissue damage. Can the mother safely undergo CT scan? What are concerns for the fetus?

i don't think there's any risk at all since the only part to be imaged is the shoulders where she has been shot. just avoid the abdomen area though.

it really depends. i still think there's a small risk even if the abdomen is not imaged. health risk for the mother as well as the baby.
