if this is not normal for you, then i think you should have it checked out. i am thinking of endometriosis, but i am not sure though.

abdominal pain during period is mostly normal for some women but excessive pain is something to be worried. if that's your case, don't hesitate, see a gyne/doctor soon.

i don't know how much pain is too much for you but if it's causing you significant pain, i think it would be best to consult your doctor. sometimes menstrual pain can be a sign of a serious problem. better safe than sorry

I'm sorry for your condition. Abdominal pain and painful periods may be caused by endometriosis. Some common signs and symptoms of endometriosis include:
Pelvic pain
Painful intercourse
Painful urination
Painful bowel movements during your period
Severe abdominal pain before and after your period
Lower back pain
Heavy periods or spotting between periods
Fatigue

U'd better go to the hospital for a check. There are a number of treatments available for endometriosis. They include surgery to remove the endo, pain medications, drugs that affect the hormonal system, herbal medicine of Fuyan Pill, and hysterectomy.
