i think so, i had epidural when i was in labor before. i can't barely remember anymore, there was pain but it wasn't really that disturbing.

it gives you relief to the pain you are experiencing on the lower part of your body while you remain conscious throughout the labor.

yes it does! most women who doesn't want to feel pain would consider epidural but personally speaking i don't recommend this procedure as this affects or weaken or lower body making it harder for you to push your baby out.

it is hard to say because it depends on everyone differently, how it takes effect.

i'm on my 36 weeks of pregnancy and i don't want to have an epidural shot. i wanted to experience the real thing, the beauty of pain delivering my baby. :)

i got partial epidural that lasted all through out labor and wore off when it was time to push. it did helped relieve most of the pain but i had fever afterwards.
