i think that it is normal for some to have hemorrhoids during and after pregnancy.

Nori - September 9

you could really develop hemorrhoids while pregnant, it's normal for some.

roxy - September 10

it is more common in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and more common with women who are pregnant several times.

fyi: hemorrhoids are blood vessels in our rectal part area that have become swollen. it can be itchy and mildly uncomfortable or even painful.

hemorrhoids may also develop while you are pushing during the 2nd stage of labor.

donna - September 10

pregnancy makes us women more prone to hemorrhoids since our growing uterus during pregnancy puts pressure on the pelvic veins.

catie - September 11

avoid hemorrhoids by eating high-fiber diet, plenty of fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water plus get a regular exercise.

lovella - September 11

do some kegel exercises which increase the circulation in the rectal area and may strengthen the muscles around your anus.

alexa - September 11

do not sit for a long time, try to move around.

angie - September 11

for now, you may apply an ice pack to the affected area. this will help decrease the swelling and discomfort.

my mom would soak her bottom in a warm water in a tub for about 8-15 minutes each day.

Gretta - September 11

ask your obgyne or physician to recommend you a safe topical anesthetic for relief.
