I don't think so because it is possible to have a healthy pregnancy even if you have asthma, however you must take extra precautions to keep your asthma under control during this time.
Asthma should not be a reason for you to not become pregnant. However, if your asthma is severe, you need to speak with your doctor before becoming pregnant. You doctor can help you decide which is the best course of action to take for the benefit of you and your baby.
BEING ASTHMATIC IS NOT THE REASON OF NOT BEARING A CHILD.IN FACT, MY COUSIN HAD A SEVERE ASTHMA AND SHE DO HAVE 3 KIDS.SHE HAS NO PROBLEM DURING PREGNANCY AND SHE DELIVERED HER 3 BABIES THROUGH NORMAL DELIVERY.BUT, JUST TELL YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR CONDITION BECAUSE EVERY PERSON HAS DIFFERENT STORY.HER STORY MAY NOT BE HAPPENING TO YOU.GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS.
CArrie, i believe that being asthmatic is not the reason for not getting pregnant cause i know some people who have asthma but do have children. But with your condition, you should ask your doctor if it's advisable to get pregnant because being asthmatic is a high risk especially on the day of giving birth.
I don't think asthma is the reason why you can't be pregnant. Maybe you should wait for a little more time to have it. Be patient :) goodluck on having a baby!
There are many asthmatic mother who have reared a child successfully. But I'm not saying that you have defects, only you must wait the time when you would become pregnant.
I don't think so, it's not because of asthma..there are many asthmatic woman who still manage to get pregnant. I think there's another reason behind it.
Asthma is a very serious disease..that should not be take for granted because it can cause death to the person having such attack. Most especially if you are pregnant, but i don't think it can make a person infertile.
If your asthma was started since you were a child then you are already using different medications, these might the reason why until now you are not able to get pregnant.
